Music License
When you purchase music at Stock-Music.com, you are licensed to use that music commercially. The license allows you to use the music in synchronization with your audio, video, or other program.
This means that you can use the music in your project without ever having to worry about paying royalty fees. You can even duplicate your project on DVD or other media up to 5000 times without ever paying royalties. (If you need to make more than 5000 copies, please contact us to purchase a mass-media license.)
If you use our music in a program that is broadcast on television or the radio you are required to submit a cue sheet to the broadcasting station. This is so the broadcasting station can pay performance rights royalties for the music. But you, the producer, will never have to pay any royalties. (Without the cue sheet, the broadcasting stations are unable to legally broadcast the program. The required cue sheet information for each track can be viewed on the website after logging in to download your music.)
With the exception of on-hold music, you may only use the music in synchronization with your own audio or visual production. You may not distribute or re-sell the music on it's own.
You may alter the music by editing (adding fade-ins, fade-outs, etc.) and mixing in other sounds and music, but you must give proper credit as shown in the "Credits" for each track. (Credit information is provided for each track when you login in to download the music.) After altering the music you may not re-sell or re-distribute it as your own or alter the credits or title(s).
The music may not be used in conjunction with any pornographic material.
This music license applies to any individual or company that purchases our music. All music on stock-music.com is protected by U.S. copyright law.
